First meeting at the Fulshear Library
Fulshear AI Club will hold its first meeting on May 19, 2026 at the Fulshear Library. This opening session is meant to set the tone for the club: practical, local, and useful from the start.
This event page lives in the website/events/ folder so future meetings can be added the same way and will appear automatically on the Events page.
What to expect
The first meeting is designed as a proper working session rather than a launch party. We will introduce the club, walk through the format we want to build together, and make room for conversation among people who want to use AI thoughtfully in real work.

Speaker
Fernando Martinez-Valdez is a full-stack software engineer with 16 years of experience designing and shipping production systems across web, mobile, cloud, and distributed platforms. His work centers on the intersection of AI and software architecture: building agent-driven systems, AI-native protocols, and the interfaces that let intelligent systems plug into real-world services. He has deep experience designing end-to-end systems, from backend services and data layers to client interfaces, and has also worked extensively in on-chain environments including the Internet Computer and Solana.
Talk overview
Fernando will speak about an AI-native protocol that lets businesses expose APIs, tools, workflows, and business operations in a way autonomous AI agents can understand and use.
Why this first session matters
This first meeting gives local builders, professionals, students, and curious neighbors a chance to shape the club early. If you want a calmer, more practical forum for understanding AI, this is the best meeting to join.
